While working as a cook for a senior home, I’ve learned mainly that people are people, no matter their age. This means that in any grouping of humans there will be those who are kind, curious, rude, condescending, bitter, funny, and so on.
This also means that some of them will take a million miles if you give them one inch. It naturally follows that I as a human in need of sanity must draw boundaries around myself for my own protection.
